En pr\u00e9sence d\u2019ADN double brin dans le cytosol, Mecp2 est d\u00e9plac\u00e9 hors du noyau. Cette prot\u00e9ine interagit avec les ADN double brins dans le cytosol, inhibant leur reconnaissance par le r\u00e9cepteur cGAS et att\u00e9nuant ainsi la r\u00e9ponse inflammatoires qui en d\u00e9coule, notamment caract\u00e9ris\u00e9e par une productions d\u2019interf\u00e9rons (IFN) de type 1.
