The RHEM-IGMM histology facility is part of the RHEM, Réseau d’Histologie Expérimentale de Montpellier (https://www.rhem.cnrs.fr/index.php) and part of BioCampus-Montpellier. We are a facility dedicated to the histological phenotyping of preclinical models of human diseases, providing technical and scientific support to the research teams, associated companies and external companies. We process tissues mainly from mammals, fish, and mollusc’s organs, but also organoids and spheroids. At the RHEM-IGMM our expertise is focus in cryotomy and haematological and biochemical blood analysis.
We offer the following expertise/services:
- Flash freezing
- Sectioning
- Staining
- Immunohistological analyses (immunohitochemistry/immunofluorescence/ in situ hybridization)
- Haematological and Biochemical blood analyses.
We also offer equipment to book after completing the specific training. We have “à la carte” training courses or technological workshops on various themes: necroscopy, organ dissection and tissue preparation.
